Staff report • May 23, 2019 at 10:00 PM

PINEY FLATS — Eastman Credit Union (ECU) has cut the ribbon on a new branch in Piney Flats.

“Each branch we open is exciting, because we build new relationships. We have transformed this branch into a full-service facility that we feel confident will meet the needs of our current and future members in this area,” said ECU President and CEO Olan Jones.

At the branch, ECU is providing teller services, free checking accounts, certificates, and various loan products. In addition, the drive-thru teller, drive-thru ATM, new safe deposit boxes, and night depository add another level of convenience.

The new branch is located at 5928 Highway 11-E. ECU membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school, or owns a business in Sullivan or Washington counties or in Elizabethton.

ECU is one of the largest credit unions in the country with more than $4.5 billion in assets. ECU is a not-for-profit, financial service cooperative serving more than 225,000 members at 27 locations.
