'Share the Warmth' mission seeks warm clothing donations Saturday in Rogersville

ROGERSVILLE — The public is invited to bring spare coats and other warm clothes to the United Grocery parking lot Saturday afternoon for the "Share the Warmth" mission.

The mission is comprised of three ladies from Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church on Old Stage Road, Rogersville.

They want to help keep the children of Hawkins County warm this winter, it gets cold waiting on the school bus to arrive.

On Saturday, Dec. 7 From 1:00-3:30 p.m. at United Grocery Parking lot, Main Street, Rogersville they will be collecting new socks, new or gently used winter hats, scarves, gloves, coats and hoodies.

Other drop off locations are The Rogersville Review and The Looking Glass, both located on Main Street in Rogersville.
